The Poisonous Rose – Part 1

There once was a dark, red, lonely, deadly rose on the peak of Mount Sinai. People called it “Ginai Killer.” Nobody ever dared to get near it as it could poison you and cause you to foam and vomit. After you vomit multiple times, insects sense food from you. Without waiting a second, they rush to you as a band of musicians to eat you alive. It is painful. A five-minute drive from Mount Sinai was Eugine’s house. And yes, Eugine hated reading, loved basketball, loved Fortnite, and hated his four sisters. He was the only guy in their home. Their father died because one day, he went near the ‘Ginai Killer’. He went near it because he wanted to prove to the city that he did not fear anything but God. People had dared him to go burn it. However, moments before he attempted to burn it, the Ginai Killer spotted his keen bloody eyes and shot a bright burning acidic liquid towards his eyes. Soon the poison spread through his entire body, causing him to suffer to death. However, Eugine could not recall a single memory of his late father other than him carrying him. Eugine did not care about him. He was proud of his father though. He wanted to prove to those wicked people that his father was no loser but a heroic man. He wanted to go up Mount Sinai and yell.
“My dad is no sore loser,” said Eugine in his imagination to the people of Gorty. “He was not afraid unlike you people.”
But there was a problem. His mother, Kenny was in severe depression after the death of his late father. She did not want to risk losing her children because of the stupid rose.
But Eugine wanted to be the first—the first in history to exile that venomous rose from the earth.
“How could it be called a rose?” Eugine wondered. “I thought roses were soft and beautiful to one’s eye.”
And that is when the people of Gorty named it the ‘Ginai Killer’. One day, Eugine approached his four sisters: Ana, Ven, Jen, and Ken. Eugine could hit them if he wanted to, but his depressed mother would bring in the ultimate statement by saying, “You guys dare touch eachother, then just watch what will happen.” Eugine wondered what that “watch what will happen” was in his empty brain. Was it a punishment to get exiled from the tribe of Gorty or was it a punishment to go have a meet and greet with the Ginai Killer? “No, no, no, Eugine, stop wondering about those things.” His mom could never harm her five children, especially her poor innocent son. Quite the opposite now. Her sisters were the pious and innocent souls on the earth. He was considered the ‘man of the house’ since the death of his late father. Eugine didn’t care at this point, he must somehow invent some suit or grab the rose from the back or just do something! He needed to be known as “Eugine the Saviour.” Eugine didn’t care at all. Even if it were risking his mother or his sisters’ lives. Eugine saw a minute glimpse of light from the bottom of his front door. He ran towards it, finding some mail. He quickly went through all of them dying to find his name. He spotted his name! It read “To Mr. Eugine Fegreson” He ripped the mail into millions of pieces until he saw a note which said,
“Oh hello, young fellow. I heard that you want to kill me. Hmm, well in order to do that you will have to murder someone. That person is…Jen! HAH YOUR OLDEST SISTER! Then two more challenges and i’m gone in a snap. Your life, your decision.”
