A long time ago, when dragons still dominated the skies, there was a brave and arrogant knight. He would lead his men as if it was a part of his blood. His name and where he came from was unknown, but some called him Michael. He was tall, fearsome, and ruthless; in fact, his enemies would shiver out of fear when they confronted him. Some even called him the Hercules of Jamba. Some even questioned whether he emerged from the heavens as an angel, and if he was sent by God himself. Although he seemed deadly, emotionless, and conquered many kingdoms, he was sweet and generous to his men. However, one day his enemies up in the North heard of his approach, considered him a threat, and formed alliances never seen before. Michael suspected this, so he wanted to achieve something thought to be impossible. Michael gathered a portion of his men and set out to the mountains. It was an agonizing, tiring, and deadly trip, yet Michael and his men pushed forward and found the entrance. Before barging into the ten-meter-tall oak door, he told his brave, fearless, and cunning men that they might face the scorching flames of Smaug. Smaug, a fire-breathing and ruthless dragon, was safekeeping a world full of gold behind the walls of the mountain they were on, and Smaug would not let them get the incredible amount of wealth behind those walls under any circumstance. Michael chose these soldiers because he trusted them. He chose them because he knew that they had powerful minds capable of resisting the strongest temptation. The single thing that the soldiers could not understand was their mission. Why did they come here? Why should they not acquire and steal Smaug’s riches? Why was Smaug important? Michael barged in without a shadow of a doubt that his men could accomplish their mysterious task. He spotted the dragon in the corner of his eye and swiftly avoided the flame directed directly towards him. Michael shouted, “We do not want your wealth!”
The dragon recognized his familiar voice and decided to land before asking, “What do you come here for then?”
“We need your help, Smaug,” Michael responded.
The beast of a dragon could feel Michael’s familiar powerful presence and quickly settled down.
“You are back, Michael,” he whispered to himself. He was back! He was Smaug’s friend and master in his previous lives. However, the dragon too did not understand why the men were there. Michael finally explained everything; being a highly influential figure to the dragons, Smaug needed to gather up an army of dragons to help Michael with this upcoming brutal war. Michael would then show his men how to bond with their dragon, ride their dragon, and train each dragon. Each soldier agreed to Michael’s insane and impossible-sounding plan, and the next few weeks consisted of vigorous amounts of hard work and training. Michael did not want the upcoming war to take place, but it was too late; the upcoming event was inevitable. It was time, so his fleet of dragons flew back to the city. One of the younger dragons would scout the area and alert the city if he saw anything suspicious or saw the army. Michael, the fleet of dragons, and his army moved up North to confront the opposing army when one day one of the scouts spotted them. The scout seemed terrified; he said the army was in the millions.1
