Once upon a time,
A brave young sailor embarked upon his ship,
Setting sail for a mysterious and adventurous trip.
He was adorned in a blue velvet coat,
Standing tall and proud upon the deck of his boat.
His heart yearned to sail the vast sea,
Discovering worlds that no one else could see.
BEHOLD, Captain Leo!
His young, small crew moved from side to side,
Applauding their leader with respect and pride.
A long-ago dream danced in his mind,
To explore every shore he could find,
To reach the hidden, exotic lands,
Bringing back treasures from the foreign sands.
“I will be wealthy and build a castle,
Full of plenty of hustle and bustle.
Adorned with colossal white towers,
Surrounded by vibrant and colourful flowers.”
“There I will sip my hot cup of tea,
Relaxing in my majestic golden chair,
As I gaze upon the charming wide sea,
Listen to the birds singing from here and there.”
SWOOSH!!
Suddenly, a strong storm howled over the deep, dark waters.
CRASH!!
The big ship smashed into halves and quarters.
Alone on the shore, the seaman sobbed with madness,
As his heart squeezed with profound sadness.
His dreams had been swept away,
Vanished through the chilly wild air.
“What a pity! I am alone, so far away.
I am out of luck. It’s clear. I swear.”
Once upon a time,
There was an ill-fated sailor on a deserted shore.
He felt lost, weak, and sore.
“What could I do?” he sighed. “Alone in the seven seas,
With no help, no hope, no great expertise.”
He stood barefoot in the cold sand,
Tired and wretched in an unknown land.
He stared at his half-buried boat in the dunes,
As all his dreams turned suddenly to ruins.
