The television show Peppa Pig is a British animated series about a pink cartoon pig named Peppa Pig. The show is very popular with little kids, but actually it’s very enjoyable for all ages. It was first aired on May 31st 2004. Produced by Hasbro Entertainment and Karrot Animation and formerly produced by Ashley Baker Davies, the show follows Peppa and her family as well as her friends and many other animals in the show.
So this television show started with the animators we thank today for making the television show most of us all know and love, especially me: Peppa Pig. Neville Astley and Mark Baker wanted to create a series for little kids that had clear and concise storylines with beginnings, middles, and ends. They also wanted to create a female character that was more than just being a princess and ballerina so they made a character who loved much more than that. As a result. they created 4-year-old bright and cheeky Peppa. However, the first person to voice Peppa Pig was 4-year-old Lily Snowden-Fine. Lily also voiced Peppa in the pilot episode and continued to be Peppa for the very first season. I wonder if I rewatched the show, would I be able to tell the difference between their voices?
Furthermore, Peppa Pig has a world you can go to that first opened on April 9, 2011, a year before I was born. Isn’t that cool? Peppa Pig World is Peppa Pig themed of course within Paultons Park, which is a family-friendly theme park in Hampshire, England. The area also includes nine themed rides and many other attractions for you to go see and have fun with your family and friends.
In conclusion, Peppa Pig is a very important part of kid-friendly television show history that everyone should appreciate and have great memories of. And that’s why Peppa Pig is one of my favorite shows from when I was little and even to this day.
