 The Green Country

I’d always wanted to be brave like my brother Simon. He wasn’t afraid of anything. I remember once, when he was younger, he was fighting a bully named John who was thirteen years old and had a mysterious bracelet on his hand which had a button on it. Nobody in the school knew what happened if you pressed that button. As a result, me and my brother, Simon, were determined to figure out what would happen if you touched the mysterious button.
The next day I went to John and asked him to come to the washroom with him. When they reached the washroom Simon jumped out of the stall and missed the button on John’s bracelet
“Is that your little sissy who me made come to the washroom?” asked John.
“No, it not my sissy!” exclaimed Simon. “It is my brother, Jack, who is as strong as me.”
John said, “Okay if you guys are strong than fight me.”
“Okay, Jack, let’s attack,” said Simon.
Bing! Before we knew it, school had ended and Simon and I had bruises and blood leaking out from our noses.
Honk! Our mom was here to pick us up from this brutal school day. Simon and I got cleaned up before our mom had arrived, so our mom never noticed our fight with John.
“How was your day?” asked mom.
“It was okay,” we said simultaneously. “Can we go to the park?”
“Ok,” said mom.
Once we reached the park, I saw a familiar face. It was John and he was still wearing his bracelet. We hopped out of the car and hid behind the slide which John was going on. Once he was off the slide, I jumped and managed to press the button on John’s bracelet.
ZOOM! I was teleported into the land of goblins where everything was green. The houses were green, the food was green, the sky was green, the roads were green, the water was green and even the goblins themselves were green. I got up from the green sand I was sitting on and headed towards a green castle. I saw a lot of guards all over the castle with green bows, swords and even shields. They were not letting anyone inside the castle, so I was determined to find out why. I saw a bush and headed towards it. There I saw a secret passage to enter the castle, so I went in the passage and climbed up three stair cases and finally saw a door which said, “DON’T ENTER. REALLY SPECIAL.” I saw two guards, so I got one of their swords and sliced both their necks off. I opened the door and saw a chest. I opened it and found exactly the same bracelet John had been wearing this whole time. I pressed the button again which made me teleport to the bedroom of the king of the goblins who turned out to be John. Suddenly all of John’s goblin soldiers started attacking me but I had a stink bomb which I threw and ran away. When I came back in the room, I saw all of the goblins on the floor dead. Then the only person I had to finish was John, so I grabbed his own sword and sliced his body into two pieces which made all of the green blood spill out his cruel body. I got my bracelet and pressed the button which teleported me back to my house. At the end of the day, at least I was as brave as my brother Simon.
