Inside the Hollow House – Part I

“I am the old owner of this house who got killed by a soul named Sarah Ann,” said the voice.

There was a haunted house in the village of Sheerway. The haunted house had broken windows, broken doors and a broken fence. All of the people in the village used to run past the house in fear, but a boy named Sam used to walk and stare at the house without any fear of getting cursed or taken inside. One blowy Halloween day, Sam and his friends Lily and Jack decided to go to the haunted house at sunset and see what was in it. Even though Lily and Jack were afraid, they still went because they wouldn’t let Sam go alone. During sunset, Sam and his friends met at Sam’s house to pack their backpack. In the backpack, they put a flashlight, a walkie talkie and a map of the entire house they had found in  the haunted house’s mailbox.

“I am tired of saying haunted house,” said Lily.

“Let’s just call it Hollow House, since there is nothing inside the house,” said Sam.

“Good idea,” replied Lily and Jack.

“Enter quietly and with caution,” whispered Jack.

As the door opened with a creek, everybody smelled the old wood scent wafting through the room. When they entered, they only saw a piano with cobwebs and a desk which had a computer on it with cobwebs and a few spiders. They heard a faint cry for help and got scared.

“Who was that?” asked Jack.

“I don’t know,” replied Lily.

“Let’s just keep scanning the house,’’ said Sam.

“I heard the faint cry again,” said Lily.

“It’s probably a toy we stepped on, and it’s still making noise,” argued Sam.

After they kept scanning the house, they bumped into something they thought was a statue.

“Ughh! What is that tall human statue thing,” said Jack.

“It’s probably the old owner’s decoration statue or something,” said Sam.

“I dont think this is a statue,” said Lily in a crying voice.

“I am not a statue,” said a voice.

“Did you just speak like an old granny?” asked Jack.

“No, I think that was the thing we call a statue,” said Sam.

“I am the old owner of this house who got killed by a soul named Sarah Ann,” said the voice.

“Who is Sarah Ann?” asked Sam.
