The Friendship Test

During the movie, Alexia felt left out. Sofie and Victoria whispered and giggled, leaving Alexia alone. She tried to join in the conversation, but they quickly changed the subject.

In a small town, there was a girl named Alexia. She was excited about her first day of high school. She had her two best friends, Victoria and Sofie, always by her side. Three of them had very happy memories together since childhood, sharing secrets, laughter and dreams.

As the school year started, everything seemed perfect. They sat and chatted together at lunch and studied together for tests and exams, and kept on encouraging each other to withstand the hard times they faced in their lives. However, things changed as weeks and weeks passed by. Victoria seemed more distant, often lost in her phone, while Sofie began to hang out with a new friend group.

One evening after school, Alexia invited Sofie and Victoria to her house for a movie night, hoping to fix their friendship. When they arrived, Alexia suggested a Disney Cartoon movie, while Victoria and Sofie wanted to choose the new release on Netflix. During the movie, Alexia felt left out. Sofie and Victoria whispered and giggled, leaving Alexia alone. She tried to join in the conversation, but they quickly changed the subject.

After the movie, she couldn’t hide her feelings anymore. “ I feel like both of you don’t like me anymore,” she said in her shaky voice. They all looked at her, explaining that they were just fitting in the new crowd and just being busy with their own stuff and all those other reasons.

At that moment, Alexia felt a mix of sadness and frustration. The room fell silent. Finally Victoria spoke up. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize that it would make you sad and it would affect you that much. If you want me to change, me and Sofie would do anything to make you happy, right Sofie?” Sofie nodded as if she was crazy.

Alexia sighed. ”I just want everyone to be happy, but I also want to have friends. Can we find a way to make things happen and go back to the way things used to be?”

They spent the next hour talking and sharing their feelings and promising to always chat. In fact, they made a very special day called “Friendship Day” every month, where they would do something special together.

As weeks and months passed by, Victoria, Alexia, and Sofie kept their promise. They found happiness in their friendship once again, supporting and encouraging each other in the ups and downs in the universe. They learned that friendship could make anything happen. They could grow stronger together.

In the heart of their friendship, Alexia, Victoria, and Sofie discovered that a true friendship isn’t just about being together all the time; it’s about being there for each other no matter what we do.
