Two Spies: Be Careful With Your Soul – Part I

I went to see a movie with my best friend Harper when everyone suddenly disappeared into thin air. Harper noticed, but we were tired, so we didn’t care. When we woke up, we were in a black car in a desert-like expanse but it was dark, so we would have never really seen what it was until it was morning. When it was the next morning, we were in a room that was small, dark, and smelled like candy canes. All of a sudden, two adults walked in with thick documents, telling us why we were there and what we were there to do. As we were reading, Harper found something saying that we would be spies for the Italian government to report any suspicious activity in a U.S. tourist’s apartment. A few minutes later, a big guy in black walked in and sat in the chair across from me and Harper.

“Hello, Stacy and Harper. Are you both done reading the rules and agreement?” he asked.

“Yes we are done reading it,” I said.

“Ok. Let us get started on your training,” he said.

We stood up and started walking to a strange room. Once we got there, they pushed us in and the doors closed.

“It’s too dark in here, Stacy. I really can’t see,” Harper said.

“Let me see if there is a light switch or something I can turn on the lights with, so we can see,” I said.

As I was walking, the lights turned on and I saw a face that looked familiar. I didn’t know who it was, but I was determined to figure out what was going on around here and some way to get out.

“Hello, this is Commander Peak speaking. I am here to tell you two ladies why you’re here. You two are in here because we have watched you two for the past seven years and two have shown us that you could be great spies one day and guess what, if you show us that you have the potential to do it, you two could be our best female spies yet,” the voice said.

The screen turned off.

The lights turned off.

The day turned to night.

We passed out.

As soon as we woke up, we were in hospital beds with doctors by our sides checking to see if we were awake and steady. As soon as I sat up, the doctors screamed with joy.

”IT WORKED!! IT WORKED!!”

“I don’t understand what worked?” I said.

“Ok, let me explain,” the doctor said.
