Once upon a time in the cozy village of Sunnyvale, there lived a boy named Adeyemi. Adeyemi loved exploring and discovering new things. One day, when Adeyemi was playing with mud and water, he noticed a wooden chest under the mud, so he did what he had to do: he got his shovel and dug the mud up until the chest was visible to him.
Once he finally got the chest out, he opened it up and found a map which had an X mark on it. He knew exactly what it was; it was treasure! He excitedly got his bag which had a water bottle, a shovel and, most importantly, his map. After getting his bag, he followed the map which led him to an old oak tree which was surrounded with a pile of old oak leaves.
“Why would this old oak tree be surrounded by a complete fit circle of old oak leaves?” Adeyemi asked himself curiously.
After that, Adeyemi moved the leaves and found an old rusty gold compass.
“What is this leading me to?” Adeyemi asked himself. “This is not an ordinary compass.”
Adeyemi knew it was not an ordinary compass, because it had a golden needle and it was sparkled with magic.
“This is leading me somewhere,” he told himself.
After knowing that it was leading him somewhere, he followed it and had to climb a big rock and a river. Before he was about to give up, he remembered what was at stake, so he put more dedication and more hard work. It also led him through a waterfall and trees that had fallen down to finally make it to where the compass was bringing him.
“This is where the X was marked,” he screamed anxiously.
In order to calm down, he said to himself, “Calm down, calm down. It might be around here somewhere.”
After getting a bit worried, he started knocking things over and messing up the place.
“Finally!” screamed Adeyemi as he found the treasure.
After opening the chest, he got a few diamonds and a few gold jewelry pieces and then headed back to Sunnyvale.
“Where have you been?” asked mom.
“I went to look for treasure,” replied Adeyemi.
“Well, did you find anything?” asked mom.
“Actually yes, I found a few gold pieces and a few diamonds,” said Adeyemi.
“Show me!” mom screamed in a hurry. “We have to share it with the rest of the Sunnyvale village.”
Once Adeyemi was done taking out the valuable pieces he had found, he gave it to his mom and then his mom distributed it to the rest of Sunnyvale village. Because of Adeyemi’s curiosity, Sunnyvale became one of the richest villages in the whole country.
