Watermelons are Kidnappers- Part II

“Huh, where am I?” asked Tess to herself deep in a dark room.

It was pin drop silence.

All of a sudden, Tess began to see a small spark grow and grow within seconds till she saw big Jessy.

“Jessy, where am I? Did Mr. Prouty catch me? Help me!” exclaimed Tess.

“You are staying with me, Tess. I will burn you in olive oil and toast you with hot sauce,” said the old lady, Jessy.

“You can’t do that to me!” yelled Tess as she tried untying the ropes wrapped around her hands.

The old lady, Jessy, grabbed Tess by her legs and flipped her. She walked her to the kitchen where she would cook children.

“I am warming up the oven: I want to warm you up before I fry you,” said Jessy.

Just like that, Jessy went to the oven and began clicking buttons. Tess ran out of her seat and pushed her into the oven and closed the door. Jessy’s fat face was screaming. She was crying in pain.
“Get me out of here now! I can’t breathe. My legs are burning. I will get you, little brat!” said Jessy.

“I would like to see you try,” said Tess.

Few minutes later Tess came back to check on Jessy. She was half-burnt already. Her skin was peeling and Jessy was unconscious.

“I think I can fry her now,” said Tess.

Tess pulled out a pot and poured lots of oil in it. She dragged it over to the oven. She pulled the old lady out of the oven and into the oil pot.

“Time to fry you!” said Tess.

The oil began to boil and so did Jessy.

“AAA! Help me, God. I am dying,” yelled Jessy.

Moments later, Mr. Prouty broke through the door and helped his wife out. Tess continued running as Mr. Prouty ran with half of Tess’s speed.

“First you step on my lawn and now you are burning my wife alive! How dare you do that,” yelled Mr. Prouty.

Tess ran the way Jessy instructed her to run earlier.

She then reached home and called the police.

“POLICE! Someone is trying to kill me,” yelled Tess.

Mr. Prouty broke in.

“Nobody is trying to kill you. You are dead now!” yelled Mr. Prouty.

Mr. Prouty came charging towards Tess with a large knife, like a bull.

Someone knocked him out from the back.

“MAMA! How did you know I would be here?” asked Tess.

“Tess, I am your mother. I know you very well,” said Mama.

“I understand. You are right. Am I in trouble?” asked Tess.

“Is that even a question? Yes, of course you are. Grounded for one month. Amazing job, young lady. You fried poor Ms. Jessy,” said Mama.

“No, you don’t get it. She is not nice, mama. You see–” said Tess.

“Cut it, I don’t want to hear it. Just go to your room. I’ll bring you your dinner there,” said mama as she turned around and washed her hands.

Tess went to her room and began crying.

“I think I made a big mistake today. How could I possibly attempt burning someone. I am so crazy. Also mama hates me. I really don’t know what to do!” exclaimed Tess to herself before her mom walked in with her dinner.

“I made rice with beans with avocados with white sauce. For a drink, I made you a fruit punch juice. Finish the food and load your dishes in the dishwasher. From now on, you are responsible for your own dishes,” said mama.

“Why! I–” said Tess before she was interrupted by her mother.

“The way you can fix this mistake is by apologizing to Mrs. and Mr. Prouty,” said mama.

“How do you expect me to do that?! I will get killed if he finds me,” said Tess.

Mama left the room, leaving Tess curious.

“How could I do that? I have an idea! What if I step on Mr Prouty’s lawn again and apologize instead of making us both run all around the city? Mrs. Prouty would be happy for my apology,” said Tess.

Next day, she stepped on Mr. Prouty’s lawn.

He walked out and said, “I know you are here to say sorry. I heard your conversation with your mom. I accept your sincere apology.”

Mrs. Prouty walked out the door and said, “My love, I understand your pain. You have put me through pain but you are a kid. We all make mistakes. Forget about it and let’s respect each other from now on. You are more than welcome to play on our big lawn with your friends.”

“I don’t want to play with my friends, I want to play with you and Mr. Prouty NOW!” said Tess.

They went for a hug and lived happily ever after.

Mom looked out of the curtains of her house and said, “I surely have raised an amazing daughter. But naughty!”
