A Final Goodbye

“Achoo! AA!” yelled Heather.
The dark silent room was filled with Aiden’s anger.
“Look, Heather, this cancer problem of yours is clearly not treatable. I’m gonna divorce you. I can not live a good life while taking care of you, Heather. I am very sorry,” exclaimed Aiden.
“Ho-how could aha aha do this to me? We have two kids!” cried Heather.
“I have handled that, I have already registered them in the adoption center system. As a matter of fact they have found new parents. They are wealthy and rich. I am sure Sarah and Jake will live a happy life with them,” said Aiden.
“You cannot do that to me!” said Heather as she began to cry.
“Oh yes I can!” yelled Aiden into Heather’s poor sick face.
Ever since Heather was diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4, she had lost all her beauty.
“I need you to sign these divorce papers ASAP,” Aiden exclaimed as he pointed his pen towards the signature spot on the sheet.
“Before I do that, I would like to ask for a favor. Since you are a millionaire, I need you to start a Cancer foundation for women whose husbands have left them just like you stupid men have done. I want you and your employees to start helping dying people like me to not feel alone and to feel loved once again!” screamed Heather into Aiden’s face.
“Now get lost and leave my house before ACHOO I call the cops on your ugly face! And how dare you take my children into the Adoption Centre. You do not care about any of us! You only married me for MONEY!” said Heather.
“Alright, I will start making the company. Anything to get rid of some smelly sick woman in my life,” said Aiden.
“How dare you say that to me! I practically started your business! Made you dinner and coffee on those late nights. Motivated you when you felt like quitting!” yelled Heather.

6 MONTHS LATER:

Aiden called Heather on the phone and said,
“Hi, here is the foundation! Wait, you look quite different. You are wearing so much makeup. It is all set. The women are starting to move in. We are going to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside 2 hours of women’s circles. The women’s circle will provide comfort to the ladies by making them feel like they are loved despite their disease. Now can you sign the divorce papers?” asked Aiden.
“I AM NOT WEARING MAKEUP. That is all you care about? I thought you were doing this for the wellness of others. But clearly you want to move up in life. Sure, I have signed them. And I am not gonna lie, but ever since you moved out four months ago, I have been going through some chemo and some comfort sessions with my family. That has recovered me and made me regain my beauty. I am now cancer free! I know what you will say. Can I please come back? But the answer is NO! You were not there with me during my down hills, therefore you won’t be there during my highs! Goodbye, and yeah. I have adopted my children back! They hate you alot. They don’t ever want to see your UGLY face again. So final goodbye and never call me back again till you are diagnosed with cancer yourself, dork,” exclaimed Heather as she hugged her children.
