Once upon a time, there was a boy named Raul who was nine years old and a reading prodigy. He went to a school named Lakers Heart Academy which was located in Bucharest, Romania. He also read more books than most adults. His best friend, Noah, was good at basketball but had a learning disability which made him fail every test. There was also a boy named Dennis who was a school bully and really good at chess. One rainy Tuesday, the teacher announced that there was going to be a chess competition at 4 AM sharp the next day. When Raul told his parents about the chess competition, they said, “You have to participate.”
Then Raul said, “Ok, I will participate.”
The next day Raul told his friend Noah about the Chess competition and how his parents wanted him to participate in it. After a while, Raul told Noah he did not want to participate, but before Raul said another word, Noah told Raul that he would be his bodyguard.
Then Raul said, “Ok.”
One of Dennis’s friends overheard this conversation and told Dennis about it. After hearing that Raul was in the Chess competition, Dennis and his friends put a foot trap under the table so Raul’s foot can get in the trap and bleed. When the match started, Raul and Dennis were defeating everyone they played and soon going to the final round. Once the match started Raul’s foot went in the trap and started bleeding. Raul then left the hall in tears, but his best friend Noah came and cheered him up. He went back in the hall and soon defeated Dennis. After the match, Raul left the hall wearing his golden metal but seeing Dennis cry, Raul took off his medal and gave it to Dennis who became happy and became best friends with Raul and Noah.
