Musa was a short eleven-year-old Egyptian boy who was born on May 2nd, 2001. He had light brown hair along with a pair of pearl-colored eyes. He did many good deeds such as helping the poor and praying five times a day diligently. His mother, Fatima, once told Musa that whenever he does a good deed, it brings him a step closer to Jannah. One sunny weekend, Musa’s dad, Ahmed, told the whole family to wake up because there was an open house on the top mountain of Beverly Hills in California. His dad said that they will have to leave the house early because it was pretty far from their house. Once Musa and his family were ready, they hopped into their car, a Honda CRV and headed towards the open house with excitement. Once they reached the open house at 9:16 AM, they noticed that there were only a few families roaming around and surveying the open house. Musa then asked his tall parents if he could go use the restroom. His parents said, “Ok but be careful and don’t roam around the house on your own because you can get lost.” After using the restroom, Musa realized that his parents were nowhere to be seen. While on the search for his parents, Musa ran and stumbled across the homeowner’s assistant.
“Are you and your family willing to buy the house?” asked the assistant. “If you are, I can lead you to the owner so he can help you with the paperwork.”
Musa said, “I don’t care if my dad does buy this house.”
“Why not?” asked the assistant.
“I only care if I have a house near Allah in Jannah,” said Musa. “Whatever I have in this life will eventually go away on the day of Judgement, but what I have in the next life, I will have for forever and forever.”
By this time, Musa’s parents had returned and said, “Let’s go home. It is getting pretty late and you have to go to school tomorrow.”
Once Musa reached home, he brushed his yellow-stained teeth and prayed the Isha prayer before jumping into his cozy, fluffy bed. He then enjoyed his sleep with an unimaginable peace in his soul.
