30 Days Of Your New Life

Kass finished writing the last sentence of her essay as she noticed a rich teen girl coming in with designer clothes and jewelry. Her jaw dropped as it was her first time seeing a rich person walk into her dad’s janitor room. Kass was suspended. She accidently threw a ball on Gigi’s face. However, rude Gigi purposely threw the ball on Kass’s nose. It bled till fleshy boils started to form on her nostrils. She was suspended for “accidentally” throwing a ball. Right after the rich girl walked in, a CEO-looking guy with a large briefcase walked in.  Kass looked at her father confused who they were. Her dad read his daughter’s face and said, “This is my boss, Mr. Quesadillas and his daughter, Ms. Estellisa.”

Ms. Estellisa began to scream at her father as he told her about the twentieth Gala of the company in less than three weeks. The girl was tired of being a rich guy’s daughter, having to attend dinners every day alongside music, art, dance,  tennis, baseball, soccer, and yoga classes. She had to do all of those things in one day.

Estellisa wanted to be in Kass’s life with no Galas and classes.

Kass didn’t have to second guess her decision about moving into the luxurious life of Estellisa. She was already broke enough.

The dads decided to take one anothers daughters for one month and so did the girls.

“Girls, you do know that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side,” said Estellisa’s dad.

“Oh please dad, stop with the nerdy speech already,” said Estellisa. “Such a dork for a dad.”

The girls traded lives for thirty days.

TWENTY NINE DAYS LATER:
“I am so done with these music classes and these yoga classes and all the others! I’m sorry, but I don’t know how Estellisa did this all. My dad doesn’t tell me to do anything other than sleeping and studying,” yelled Kass.
Estellisa was over with living the typical poverty life with Kass’s father. Estellisa had no choice but to return back to her home with her parents. She lived a month in a rusty, old apartment with barely any food in the fridge and a minimum wage paying job held by her friend’s dad. The girls returned back to their homes safely, swearing they would be thankful and never complain again.
